Giordano's Reviews

I recently went on a family vacation to Disney and was eager to visit Giordano's again. I had went to this pizza restaurant last year and had an unforgettable time. I am very picky about food and I do not give 5 stars to many pizza places, however I feel that Giordiano's deserves it. This place is highly underrated.

I have had Chicago- Style pizza before in Pizzeria Uno and this is comparable to that. However, I feel that Giordiano's pizza tops Pizzeria Uno's when it comes to deep dish pizzas. The crust is golden brown and very crispy and crunchy! It is superior to the crust at Pizzeria Uno's. The sauce is very good and sweet and is on top of the cheese, unlike the usual pizza which has sauce in the middle. The cheese is also very good, and they put a very generous amount of cheese on the pizza. (Look at my photo!)

It is funny that the Travel Channel does a special on the top pizza places in America and I went to Lombardi's in NYC (which was voted number 1) and it does not even come close to Giordiano's.

The pizza is very filling because it is deep dish and a regular size pizza has so much cheese that it can easily be split by a family! This also saves money.

The service is very fast and both times that I went there was no wait to sit down. The staff is very friendly and you feel right at home when you are there. The first time I went they were even making balloon animals for the kids.

I rate this higher than all the chains: Pizza Hut, Pizza Bolis, Papa John's, Dominoes, and Bertucci's. This is my number one pizza place for deep dish pizza and I would say it ranks as high as my favorite NY style pizza places too. I plan on coming back to Giordanios everytime I come to Florida or if I go to Chicago. This is one of the few pizzas that has good sauce, cheese and a good crust!! I think I should stop writing now because this is making me want to go back right now. I enjoyed this place more than Disney! The food is magical!
