If you live here or go to school here, there are a few areas you must not miss in Baltimore.

Fells Point

Down by the water; small market, funky shops great selection of restaurants, including; Bertha’s.

Federal Hill

South of inner harbor area, young and happening, great bars: Mother’s, Thirsty Dog NKA: The Dog Pub, great dining, cross street market for great food and an entirely different place on Raven game days!!

West Side

Up and coming; started with the Hippodrome Theater, gradually growing, now has Bedrock Baltimore, Lexington Market, just to name a few.

Mount Washington

Small area, few nice shops. One great bar: Mt. Washington Tavern (lousy food). One fabulous food eatery: Ethel and Ramone’s.  Great quiet coffee bar: Freda’s.

Canton

The bars can’t be beat, young and fun. Bay Cafe and Moma’s on the Half Shell.

Hampden

A Baltimore icon.  You don’t want to misss the Hon Fest in the spring! Great food: Soups On, Cafe Hon, Dogwood Deli, Suzi’s Soba, Great shops: Angela Lynn, Ma Petit Shoe, Kiss and Make-up…the list goes on..
