List of Charleston Bars. A friend spent the summer in the beautiful town of Charleston, SC and compiled this list along with a summary of the bars! Check them out, they sound like fun.
467 King St
Charleston, SC 29403
(843) 577-6742
-Weekends here are a blast. Good music, pool tables, and booths to chill in are all ways to enjoy your drinks with some friends.
98 Church St
Mt Pleasant, SC 29464
(843) 388-0003
-Perfect place to day-drink. Right on the water so you can drive or boat right up. Great view and party feel/atmosphere. Big space with good bar food.
209 E Bay St
Charleston, SC 29401
(843) 577-3414
-One of the more interesting bars I have ever encountered. Enjoy live music while slurping a slushy. All drinks here are various styles of slushy-type beverages with names like: “attitude improvement” and “call a cab” ensure that when you lleave, you must, in fact, call a cab.
468 King St
Charleston, SC 29403
(843) 577-5885
-Conveniently located on King Street. Beerworks has a good sports bar atmosphere with tons of beer on tap and many flat screen TV’s to enjoy every game you want to watch. A daily happy hour allows one to purchase pints for a mere 2 dollars that pair nicely with their bar sacks offered.

-Local hidden pub with great music and good food if you are looking for an afternoon snack. When you are here, you feel like a local, and enjoy the real Charleston small town feel. Very casual and a chill way to drink and spend the night.
38 Broad St
Charleston, SC 29401
(843) 577-0088
-Good lunch food, good beers, and a relaxed atmosphere. The adorable back courtyard with candles sprinkled all over give you a chance to enjoy the fresh air in a calm setting.
-Typical neighborhood bar. The food is just average, but the daily specials are unbeatable. Good if you are trying to drink cheap. Don’t waste time dining here when there are many other places within walking distance that are of higher quality food, much more satisfying.
