Campus Diversity/Restaurant Scene

How to feel more at home, when you are away from home

Towson students:

  • Do you miss home?
  • Are you a stranger in a strange land?

I have been spending time regularly on this campus and it certainly has the “feel” of a diverse campus.

With 30% minorities, out of a student population of just under 20,000 that converts to a great need for  restaurants that cater to all ethnic groupings so they can achieve that sense of home, when they are far away.

For all those who are longing for that feeling of comfort  that only foods from your ethnic background will satisfy, I offer the following:

Chinese food

Jumbo Seafood

Middle Eastern food

The store has signage in English, Arabic, and Spanish, and employees who are multilingual are identified by special name tags that they wear.
